Sooo, I'm Back

So where have I been and what have I been up to since my last post?  I'll tell you.

So since mid-January, I have watched the Packers win the Super Bowl!!!!!  That was a great game and an awesome experience watching my favorite team win it all.  We had a packed house at our place, and thanks to some additional seating, everyone fit! 

The Super Bowl was followed by a showing of Indian and the Cupboard!  One of my favorite movies of my childhood.  It was every bit as good as I remember it.

Melissa and I made cookies one night.

 

 These were so good!  We make a pretty good team.

After the cookie making, I had some tests and a paper due.  One paper was for my Sustainable Operations class.  We had to interview a business and see if they were running their business sustainably, or not.  I decided to call up Tesla Motors because they have those all-electric sports cars.  There is a Tesla dealership here in Boulder, so on a lovely Wednesday morning, I went over and conducted my interview. 

 

 The paper went pretty well, the dealership was not sustainable AT ALL.  So while that let me down, it opened my eyes.  And hey, if it doesn't make you money...why would you do it?

 

Then, it started to snow.  I was tired of being stuck inside with freezing temperatures, so I took a couple pics.

And one of the other great things that happened in my absence: Valentine's Day.  Now that I have a girlfriend, Valentine's Day means a little more than it used to in past years.  I went all romantic and decided to cook her dinner and dessert!  Call me Chef David.  It was really good.  I surprised myself.  Melissa even said it was good...who knows if she is telling the truth though.  I didn't take any pics of the meal though because I was too busy making/eating it.  Here are some pics.  Isn't she pretty?
